Job Title: Deli & Charcuterie Associate

Job Summary: To perform the day-to-day operations of the department in providing excellent service and quality Deli & Charcuterie products to customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Fresh quality produce

Receives and inspects Deli & Charcuterie products for quality and accuracy.

Regularly checks expiry dates of Deli & Charcuterie products and reports items for possible discount to superior.

Reports on bad orders and disposal.
Endorses return of bad orders to suppliers during pick-up.
Brings products to the walk-in chillers following the ‘first-in, first-out’ procedure.

Customer Service

Assists customers in their purchases at the Deli & Charcuterie section in a courteous and friendly manner.
Performs accurate price tagging of all Deli & Charcuterie products prior to display in the selling area.
Prepares and post accurate and clear signages according to product categories.
Maintains cleanliness and orderliness in assigned workstation, backroom, storage and surrounding areas before, during and after store operations in compliance to health and sanitary guidelines.

Stock Monitoring & Replenishment

Replenishes and maintains creative displays of product at the selling area.
Regularly monitors and maintains acceptable inventory level in the display and storage areas.
Monitors fast and slow moving SKUs to provide the superior basis for product re-ordering in coordination with merchandising.
Disposes bad order products according to standard procedures in disposal.
