Job Title: Fishmonger Associate
Job Summary: Fishmongers process and prepare fish and seafood for sale through individual shops,and supermarkets .
Key Responsibilities:
- Buy, order and control stock
- Receive deliveries and check their contents and hygiene
- Gut, clean and fillet fish
- Prepare product displays
- Serve customers at the counter
- Advise customers on how to prepare and cook fish and seafood
- Maintain strict standards on correct storage of fish and seafood
- Clean work surfaces and tools regularly..
Qualifications:
EDUCATION / PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
- With knowledge on proper handling, cutting and preparing seafood products, as well as the retail skills you require to serve customers.
- Preferably with a least a Senior HS education
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Good practical skills
- A high standard of personal cleanliness
- The ability to work well in a team
- Good communication and customer service skills
- In-depth knowledge of types of fish and other seafoods
- Good visual sense for counter and window displays.

- Withpleasing personality
- Withneat appearance
- Cancommunicate good English.
